Lara Bourguignon will leave her dual roles as chief executive at SuperConcepts and managing director of superannuation, retirement and platforms at AMP at the end of the year.

AMP said Ms Bourguignon is departing both roles to begin a new career in consultancy.

Ilaine Anderson, AMP managing director for Workplace Super, has been appointed as interim managing director for super, retirement and platforms while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement.

Ms Bourguignon commenced the role of permanent chief executive of SuperConcepts in April last year, when she was director of strategic marketing and customer experience at AMP.

In October last year, she was elevated to the role of managing director of superannuation, retirement and platforms within the wealth giant.

AMP stated that Ms Bourguignon had made an important contribution to AMP over the past two and a half years.

“We wish her all the best as she prepares to take on her next role,” AMP said.

“We have a committed, strong and experienced team, who will continue to drive performance and momentum in transforming the business.”
