SMSF services provider SuperConcepts has announced it will be releasing an updated user interface for its software platform SuperMate next year along with new AI functions and a mobile app for trustees.

SuperConcepts said it is currently developing a brand-new, web-based user interface for its software platform SuperMate and will also release an updated and simplified version of the desktop application.

It will be unveiling new automated features throughout 2021 and inviting clients to try them out. The new features, it said, will enable users to automate conversions; reconcile transactions and documents; link in with Open Banking; and generate, schedule, prepare and lodge tax returns.

“The new SuperMate AI functions will be backed up by our team of experts with human augmentation so that you will always have 100 per cent accurate automation throughout all your processes and interactions with our platform,” the SMSF services provider stated.

The new SuperMate mobile app will allow trustees to lodge and access documents, queries and minutes from any location.

SuperConcepts chief technology officer Brad Ackermann said the advancements to the SuperMate software have been focused on simplification and automation.

“There will be no more options layered under sub-menus, no more training for the user to become proficient with SuperMate — just a simple-to-use, good-looking UI with a whole range of new features,” Mr Ackermann said.

“We will be rolling these out to new customers after the first quarter of 2021 to get feedback and aim to launch in the third quarter.”

SuperConcepts chief executive Lara Bourguignon said the rollout of the new SuperMate was the next evolution in SuperConcepts’ commitment to simplifying all SMSF services and delivering products that would improve the lives of clients.

“While 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, it gave SuperConcepts the chance to go back to the drawing board and listen to the needs and requirements of our clients,” she said.

“We have listened and have invested heavily into delivering the simpler, more user-friendly experience our clients need in the modern era with features that are going to help them improve their ability to help their own customers as well. We look forward to sharing all of the new features of SuperMate throughout 2021 with our valued professional clients.”
