SMSF software provider Class has announced a deeper integration deal with SMSF preparation and audit platform Cloudoffis that could potentially create a 40 per cent time saving for users in the preparation of documents for their SMSF.

The integration will see Class users gain access to Cloudoffis’ new 'SMSF Sorted' program that automatically imports data from SMSF files and work papers and provides checks and flagging of issues with SMSF documents, leading to fewer queries during the audit process, also complemented by Cloudoffis' 'SMSF Auditomation' program.

The software provider indicated the deal was the first of several integrations it would be announcing before the end of 2019.

Class chief executive Andrew Russell said the group was committed to extending the ability for software users to connect to other systems within the Class platform, with the group’s recent Benchmarking Report indicating 38 per cent of SMSF trustees were spending more time managing their fund than expected.

“While we are focused on refining and strengthening our core products, we will also ensure the Class technology suit continues to lead the market by maintaining its ability to interact with other leading technology solutions,” Mr Russell said.

“This is something we will always remain committed to. We know from our clients that helping to save both time and cost in the administration of their funds remains a high priority.”

Mr Russell added that Class would continue to focus on increasing efficiency for users of the platform in its product development and growth initiatives.

“With a customer retention rate of 99 per cent and market share of 28 per cent, Class is focused on strengthening its business through partnerships, acquisitions and ongoing product development to service new markets,” the company said.
