One of the major SMSF software firms has released its SMSF annual return software ready for tax time this year.

BGL Corporate Solutions has announced the release of its Simple Fund 360 tax-time software to clients.

The new software includes the 2019 SMSF annual tax return, all of the required supporting schedules and electronic lodgement through the ATO’s Practitioner Lodgment System.

BGL managing director Ron Lesh said the firm has had a couple of big releases over the past month in addition to the tax-time release.

“Apart from the 2019 SMSF annual return, [we] have also continued to improve our AI-based transaction posting and data input system, added three new brokers to an ever-growing list of data feeds, updated our audit working papers for 2019, added retrospective tax effect accounting, single login with SAML for a number of our larger clients and a heap of new data endpoints to our API,” Mr Lesh said.
