The former director of administration and technical services at Triple A Super has commenced a new role at Heffron SMSF solutions.

SISFA managing director Michael Lorimer joined Heffron SMSF Solutions as senior client manager on 19 June.

Mr Lorimer will continue in his role at SISFA, lobbying on issues impacting the SMSF industry.

This recent appointment follows his departure from Triple A Super in May as director, administration and technical services.

Triple A Super also lost head of South Australia and Northern Territory Jon Wells in May, who commenced a new role at SuperConcepts as solutions manager.

Mr Lorimer will be working as part of the sales and marketing team at Heffron, helping to further build its brand presence within the SMSF space.

“Heffron have a well-respected brand and a fantastic service offering and I will be working as part of a team to build upon that as they move into their next phase,” said Mr Lorimer.

“I've known Meg and Martin Heffron for a long time. We have the utmost respect for each other. Meg Heffron, in particular, is doyen of the SMSF space and has done wonderful things for the industry itself, and for their business. It’s a fantastic and exciting opportunity to be working with such a great team, led by such great people.”
