SuperConcepts has confirmed that following its decision to create 52 skilled positions in Adelaide, it will scale back its operations in Victoria.

“Following the expansion of our operations in Adelaide, we have made the decision to scale back the scope of our Glen Waverley site over the course of 2017,” SuperConcepts chief executive Natasha Fenech said.

“We appreciate this is a difficult time for employees. We will offer impacted staff relocation packages, as wherever possible we would prefer to retain our staff,” Ms Fenech said.

“We are also seeking role opportunities within our broader operations for employees who are unable to relocate to South Australia.”

Operations currently undertaken at the site will be relocated to the Melbourne CBD.

Losing 40+ experienced staff for $1.6m. Petty cash for AMP.

The math does not add up. Training of new staff, new office fitout & reduced productivity. It makes no sense.

On 22 Mar 2017 SMSF Adviser reported that SuperConcepts had partnered with an offshore provider – BPO Connect.

So it is not surprising that SuperConcepts would commence reducing onshore staff levels.

The protection of private sensitive information is paramount and dependent upon the honesty integrity of the management and staff of both the onshore & offshore organisations.

Unfortunately as your namesake suggests Truth, you never get in the way of a good story. I feel for the employees and their families, particularly as a lot of the employees have young ones to care for. The industry is small and jobs are scarce. The stories I’ve heard doesn’t paint a good picture for this company moving forward.

These two articles are fake news but we must remember SC’s pays a lot of advertising money to SMFS Adviser. It will prove to be a disastrous move but the execs will take their bonuses and move on.. SC’s has long suffered from management with banking backgrounds and a lack of understanding into SMSF

Super Concepts management have no idea about SMSF administration. They undervalue the relarionship between loyal staff & loyal clients.

AMP will lose over 300 years of SMSF administration experience with this decision.

Staff at the true blue SuperConceots are devasted at the news. A struggling Sydney based institution, whose board & general managers who have no experience or understanding of the SMSF administration business have made a decision purely on dollars.

Amid the tears & beers yesterday at Super Conceprs it was calculated that AMP is losing over 300 years of SMSF experience.

No one at the wake will uproor family and move to SA.

Truth is out. A relocation not an expansion. At least the 1.6m will go part way to paying for the Glen Waverley redundancies.

No reward for loyal staff. Some wirh over 20 years experience.
