An SMSF and corporate compliance software firm has launched a new application to help businesses collect and store data required by governments in the COVID-19 environment.

The new application launched by BGL Corporate Solutions, called GuestTrack, helps businesses collect and store customer, employee and contractor information — including name, email and mobile number — which may be needed by authorities in order to trace COVID-19 infections if they occur.

“This app will make it really easy for any business to meet their obligations in a COVID-19 environment as well as providing guests with a sensational customer experience,” said BGL managing director Ron Lesh.

Mr Lesh said the recent COVID-19 has had and continue to have a devastating effect on families and businesses across Australia.

“During tough times like this, it’s important that we work as a community to help our clients and the community. BGL is a well-known and trusted developer of accounting software solutions, so we used our knowledge to develop an app to help our clients and other businesses to optimise the collection and storing of customer data,” Mr Lesh said.

“It’s a simple and easy-to-use solution, both for the shops/businesses and for the end user.”
