SMSF administration, software and training provider SuperConcepts has released the last major SuperMate update for 2021, Version 4.6.2, confirming that the product is here to stay.

Whilst the next generation of SuperMate will be released in February 2022, SuperConcepts has declared SuperMate Classic an important and ongoing part of their product strategy.

“There’s a real need for desktop SMSF software and the existing SuperMate, dubbed SuperMate Classic, will not be retiring,” SuperConcepts chief technology officer Andy Forbes said.

There is also no migration process required, and users can easily switch between using both versions of SuperMate.

“You can process a fund in Classic then switch to the new SuperMate to benefit from the fast processing, or vice versa,” Mr Forbes explained.

The latest update delivers improvements to user maintenance and security, as well as SuperStream changes to make supporting the new requirements easier.

“In terms of user maintenance and security, users will now require a unique email address associated with their login. This is an important change that improves security in line with latest best practice,” Mr Forbes added.

“With SuperStream going live in the last release, we have implemented a range of quality of life improvements – changes that make working within the new SuperStream requirements easier for our users.”
