Nestegg.com.au is the latest initiative from Sterling Publishing – creator of award-winning title SMSF Adviser.

The new platform, launching in February, will keep active and prospective investors up to date with market commentary, opinion, data, technical and legislative developments as well as all the latest news that has an impact on investment portfolios and SMSFs.

The key focus of Nestegg.com.au is long-term investment strategies that support a happy and healthy retirement.

Nestegg.com.au will be particularly geared to delivering commentary, interpretation and analysis from Australia’s leading investment and compliance experts with a view to arm investors with the know-how to maximise their investment returns and take advantage of superannuation rulings.

It will also act as a community for investors to share their insights, experiences, strategies and connect with each other.

According to Alex Whitlock, Sterling Publishing’s group publisher, now is the perfect time to provide investors with tools and information to help them make the best decisions and build their nest egg for the future.

“It is getting harder to gauge the timing of investment decisions across many asset classes, and this can have the greatest impact on the fortunes of Australia’s ageing population,” Mr Whitlock said.

“There was a time that certain Australian blue-chip stocks were a safe bet for steady growth, but market disruptions globally and domestically have made it harder to pick tomorrow’s best investments.

“At 48 years old, I’m increasingly focused on where I can get the best returns over the next couple of decades to ensure a comfortable retirement. I’ve chosen to take control of my own financial destiny with an SMSF, and I’m sure that I’m not alone in wanting to better understand my options and the strategies available to me.

“I’ve launched Nestegg.com.au to provide all Australians with a road map to navigate the investment landscape domestically and globally and help investors make informed decisions about where to put their money,” he said.

The SMSF sector continues to flourish, growing by approximately 29 per cent since 2010, with an average of 2,600 new funds being established each month.

The title will be led by Terry Braithwaite, the associate publisher of SMSF Adviser, while the editorial will be driven by SMSF Adviser’s editor Katarina Taurian.

Sterling Publishing is recognised as one of Australia’s leading media companies and has secured numerous accolades since its creation in 2007. < /p>

Highlighting the company’s success, Sterling has been recognised in the BRW Fast 100 ranking for four consecutive years, and was awarded the prestigious title of Business Publishing Company of the Year at the 2015 and 2014 Publish Awards.
