SMSF Awards launch for 2025

Nominations and submissions are open for the SMSF Awards – enter now to be recognised for excellence.

The SMSF Awards is an unparalleled program recognising the top businesses and professionals in the SMSF industry.

The awards program recognises trailblazers leading the way in SMSF advice and accounting by championing professionalism, quality advice, and innovation.

SMSF advisers, business development managers, and SMSF specialist accountants, as well as SMSF firms and providers, will be honoured as part of the awards program.

Submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague or business by Friday, 1 August 2025, for a chance to be recognised.

There are 14 categories on offer, including eight individual and six group categories.

Some of the individual categories include Auditor of the Year, Office Manager of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year.

The group categories feature Training and Education Provider of the Year, Multi-Service Firm of the Year, and SMSF Firm of the Year.

The awards program will culminate in a black-tie gala ceremony on Friday, 24 October 2025, at the Four Seasons in Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.

Entering the SMSF Awards is the first step to being recognised as one of Australia’s leading professionals or businesses in the SMSF industry.

The high-performing professionals named as a finalist or winner of an SMSF Award can capitalise on the national awards program to build professional credibility and advance career opportunities.

The awards ceremony will also expose participants to unparalleled networking opportunities across the SMSF sector, providing attendees the rare opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders while celebrating excellence.

The finalists will be announced on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, so keep an eye out for your name on the list!

The Australian SMSF Awards, in conjunction with event stakeholders SMSF Adviser, Momentum Media and a panel of leading SMSF professionals, has developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing, analysing and benchmarking Australia’s leading professionals.

The judging criteria for award categories are both quantitative and qualitative, acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and contribution to Australia’s SMSF sector.

All professionals who meet eligibility criteria from across Australia’s SMSF industry are encouraged to participate in the awards program.

Submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague or business by Friday, 1 August 2025, to be in the running for the awards.
