SMSF Awards 2025 finalists revealed

More than 100 professionals and firms have been announced as finalists in the annual SMSF Awards 2025.

SMSF Adviser is pleased to announce that a total of 108 finalists have been shortlisted across the 14 submission-based categories in this year’s inaugural SMSF Awards.

The SMSF Awards celebrate outstanding achievement across the advice, accounting, audit, and technology sectors, championing professionalism, quality services and innovation.

The awards pinpoint professional development and transformation while highlighting the contributions made by the sector’s most senior ranks through to its rising stars.

The individual finalists include auditors, SMSF investment strategists, newcomers, office managers, SMSF specialist accountants, and business development managers.

Among the group finalists are SMSF firms, customer service firms, SMSF audit firms, multi-service firms, SMSF technology innovators, and training and education providers.

The black-tie gala ceremony – taking place on Friday, 24 October 2025, at the Four Seasons in Sydney – will bring together the industry’s leading professionals and firms. Click here to buy tickets.

The awards ceremony will showcase the depth of talent across Australia’s SMSF sector while offering an unparalleled networking opportunity.

Finalist submissions will now be delivered to a panel of respected professionals and business leaders, who will assess each submission against the criteria of each award category.

Entries will be evaluated against both quantitative and qualitative criteria that acknowledges growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to Australia’s SMSF sector.
