SuperConcepts has locked in its new technology leadership team following the resignation of Kurt Groeneveld, who founded its SuperMate software product.

Brad Ackermann, who is currently executive manager for software development at SuperConcepts, will replace Mr Groeneveld as chief technology officer from January next year. Mr Groeneveld announced plans to leave SuperConcepts in July.

Grant Christensen has been appointed chief information officer at SuperConcepts, from his previous position of executive manager, IT. Mr Christensen worked alongside Mr Groenveld prior to SuperConcepts acquiring SuperMate’s original parent company, Supercorp.

Mr Groeneveld led Supercorp from its launch in 1987, and was key to its acquisition by AMP SMSF in 2015. AMP SMSF later re-branded and restructured to become SuperConcepts, with its own board and leadership team. As part of the restructure, the Supercorp brand was removed from the market.
