Mr Goldstien, who is also director of Skeggs Goldstien, announced yesterday that Verante Finanical Planning director Liam Shorte will be taking over as chair.
“I look forward to watching the Chapter continue to grow under [Mr Shorte’s] leadership, leading the way in SMSF professionalism,” Mr Goldstien said.
Speaking to SMSF Adviser, Mr Shorte said the focus for the chapter will be adapting chapter sessions to make them more interactive and discussion-based.
“I am in the enviable position of taking over after The SMSF Association has gone a long way towards establishing its reputation with government and industry and built a strong core membership,” Mr Shorte said.
“In NSW, Adam Goldstein has, over the last five years, built a great network of sub-chapters state-wide,” he added.

George, we got in just in time with a late June 30th handover of the chair at our local Officeworks. No money changed hands so unfortunately no Small Business write off deduction! I will keep you informed of the “Chair’s” well being
