OneVue chief executive Connie Mckeage said change was needed after the business proposed to list on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2014.

“It’s important in the lead up to an IPO and going forward that we retain links to our history and at the same time have the right skills to take OneVue to its next stage of evolution,” she said.

Gail Pemberton will continue on as chair, a position she has held since 2007, the announcement stated. New additions to the OneVue board include Garry Wayling, Greta Thomas and Karen Gibson.

Ms Mckeage said Garry Wayling brings more than 30 years’ experience to the board, primarily in external and audit roles working with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young.

“Greta has worked with and helped build a number of other businesses with high growth potential such as Ebay…and has also worked for global consulting firm McKinsey and Company,” Ms Mckeage added.

“Highlights in [Karen Gibson’s] career include facilitating successful merger outcomes including that of City Super with LGsuper, and Suncorp and Metway superannuation funds,” she also said.

Ms Mckeage said subsequent to the new appointments, Michael Cole, Nigel Stokes and Peter Kennedy will step down from the board to focus on other commitments.

“We feel very fortunate to have our new members join us and we are confident that our combined skillsets and experiences will give us maximum leverage to take OneVue to IPO and beyond,” she said.
