Bentleys said the expansion into the Gold Coast is part of the network’s broader strategic growth plans, particularly its goal for delivering a wider geographical service by increasing the company’s presence in regional areas.

Bentleys chief executive Mark Chapman said he was pleased to welcome The MBA Partnership, another SMSF service provider, into the Bentleys network.

Mr Chapman said the synergies between MBA and Bentleys in terms of commitment to providing best practice advice and accounting services for SMEs made it a positive move for both firms.

“Our established presence in Brisbane has successfully serviced not only the local market but also regional Queensland, where we have seen a particular growth in the agri-business market,” said Mr Chapman.

“We believe this is a developing area for our business and the recent addition of our Sunshine Coast and now our Gold Coast offices is recognition of this.”

The Gold Coast market, he said, is a unique and diverse market that requires local knowledge and understanding.

In addition to being a reputable firm, the MBA Partnership can provide that essential requirement, and together we can offer clients broader services that leverage our national and international connections,” he said.

The MBA Partnership director Geoff Missen said the firm’s client will still be dealing with the same MBA staff but said the firm can now offer more to them in terms of expanded expertise.

“We are essentially a trusted local brand with a strong national and international backing,” said Mr Missen.

The MBA Partnership confirmed that it is retaining its current name.
