LightYear Docs has added a new cryptocurrency discretionary trust document to its platform, created by law firm Abbott & Mourly Lawyers.

Abbott & Mourly Lawyers’ Grant Abbott said the law firm’s discretionary trusts have “extra built in asset protection, streaming of crypto and digital income and capital gains to family members and crypto profit companies plus an ability to deal with blockchains around the world that do not recognise trusts”.

“As we head into the third wave of crypto and blockchain in the next decade, having a solid foundation to rely on will not only grow digital wealth but ensure it is for bloodline — another feature.”

LightYear Docs director Ashleigh Jaremyn said it was an exciting time for the company.

“Although the cryptocurrency market has taken a hit, we see a huge growth in blockchain.” said Ms Jaremyn.

“Blockchain is not just about crypto, but has grown to NFTs and we feel there will be a lot more investables coming from the blockchain.”
