LightYear Group has announced that the company’s board of directors has appointed Ben Gill as chief sales officer of LightYear Docs, effective October 5 2021.

Mr Gill has over 17 years of sales experience and has spent the best part of the past decade with one of LightYear Docs leading competitors. He brings significant industry experience to the team, and his new role with LightYear Docs will see him re-joining forces with industry and legal veteran Grant Abbott.

Mr Abbott will continue to increase his focus on the legal side of the business, with directors Ashleigh Jaremyn and Michael Jeffriess, along with Ben Gill leading the launch and growth of the new platform – LYD2.0.

“LYD2.0 is not like anything else in the market. We identified some major gaps in the document automation space and have created an innovative and collaborative application that is designed to maximise AI and human interaction in the areas it counts. And Ben will be key in driving increased sales and value to our shareholders,” head of operations, director, and new platform designer Ashleigh Jaremyn said.

The new platform features a dedicated app available on both the google play store and Apple app store that provides users a private channel to speak with technical, strategy and legal experts directly, subscribe to and watch webinars, plus access unique legal document and strategy automation wizard.

LightYear Group director Michael Jeffriess will be increasing his push to further strengthen the partner ecosystem to provide the best support solutions to LightYear Docs members, according to the firm.

“LightYear Docs has entered into a number of heads of agreements with other partners and solutions to continue our push to be number one provider of documentation, strategies, solutions and support. Further information will be provided once finalised,” he added.
