Super Foundations is Heffron’s newest education offering, designed to quickly upskill those new to superannuation and SMSFs and provide them with a solid foundation they can build on over time.

The course was created based on customer feedback that they needed a short, easy-to-understand course to upskill junior employees or those transitioning into the superannuation and SMSF space.

Super Foundations has the flexibility of two learning pathways.

Clients completing the course can choose between two learning paths – short, self-paced online learning modules or intensive webinars in an online classroom style.

“We want our clients to be able to choose the most effective learning method for them and we know it isn’t always possible for staff to take a whole day out for training,” said Meg Heffron, managing director of Heffron.

“Our solution enables course attendees to incorporate this into their busy working week and learn in the format that best suits their needs.”

“We are really pleased to see so many businesses integrate Super Foundations into their staff onboarding strategy already. It’s allowed specialists to focus their time on servicing clients and have the comfort that their new starters are getting comprehensive, up-to-date training.”

As an added bonus, graduates are invited to claim a complimentary period of membership with the SMSFA, and, depending on eligibility criteria, will have the option of either an Associate or Affiliate membership, valued at up to $620.

These complimentary periods of membership will keep SMSF practitioners up-to-date with the latest developments in the SMSF sector as well as being part of the SMSF community. “This is a wonderful opportunity for those new to the SMSF sector to grow their expertise and build connections in the industry,” Ms Heffron said.

“We are excited to partner with the SMSF Association with this premium offer for Super Foundations graduates.”
