The integration follows the expansion of Heffron’s SMSF portal Maestro, and will streamline the process of requesting an actuarial certificate and returning it to an accountant, said Meg Heffron, founder of Heffron SMSF Solutions.

“For some of our accounting clients, the best service is simply certificates at the lowest possible price delivered quickly and efficiently,” she said.

“Other firms tell us they value tapping into our extensive SMSF expertise and education when they need it and it would be convenient to bundle that with regular purchases like actuarial certificates.  BGL Simple Fund 360 clients will be able to select a service that best fits their needs.”

BGL managing director Ron Lesh said he was excited to have Heffron join as BGL’s latest actuary integration partner.

“With the huge growth in Simple Fund 360 clients and funds over the past few months, we think Heffron will have plenty of work to do,” said Mr Lesh.
