The application – which offers services including fund set up and tax lodgement – is the first fully featured browser-based application for SMSFs, according to Class Super.

The new application is the same as Class Super’s existing Windows application, but with an updated user interface (UI) and the ability to be accessed on any device, Class Super chief executive David Smith said at the product’s launch in Sydney yesterday.

“Most importantly, the browser-based UI is a complete, end-to-end SMSF solution,” Mr Smith said.

“It provides access to all the features available in our… Windows application, including direct-connect data feeds, actuarial certificate integration, automatic property valuations, and support for bulk transactions, pensions, activity statements, tax lodgements directly to the ATO and client access,” he said.

The system uses multi-tiered architecture and currently has approximately 45,000 funds, Mr Smith said.

The first induction group of 12 users will be the first to sample the platform next week. It will then be rolled out in stages, Mr Smith said.
