Class and GBST “fully support” SuperStream and the Stronger Super reforms, according to an announcement from Class.

“Through our work together we will deliver against all key dates mandated by the ATO – the most important of which are the 31 May 2014 deadline for trustee signup and 1 July 2014 date for superannuation contributions processing,” said Class chief executive Rajarshi Ray.

Mr Ray also said Class will be providing the service for free to all its users, the announcement noted.

“It was critical that the SMSF industry was a participant in the SuperStream process, given that over one third of all superannuation funds in Australia are with SMSFs,” said Martin Heffron, chief executive of Heffron SMSF Solutions.

“By being first to market again, Class ensures that all SMSFs can be part of SuperStream and their offering of the service for free just demonstrates their market leadership.”
