The new online tool is aimed at accountants and advisers and allows them to order documents through BMR using a four-step process.

Once the accountant or adviser has selected the document type from the available list; completed the data collection; reviewed the information entered; and then made the online payment, the documents are then delivered in PDF format by email within minutes.

According to BMR, the tool can be used to acquire an establishment deed, update a trust deed, change a trustee, arrange the appropriate documents for SMSF borrowing, establish a binding death benefit nomination and add a member to a corporate SMSF.

It can also perform other functions relating to estate planning and pension documents.

BMR Corporate Solutions senior consultant Mark Ratcliff said that after four years of continuous development, the company is proud to officially launch the ’15 minute SMSF’.

“In starting BMR, my goal was to minimise the length of time it took for a new SMSF to be set up and delivered to the client,” said Mr Ratcliff.

“We have utilised the newest technology and kept true to our mantra – fast, clear, concise.”

Speaking at the launch of the 15 minute SMSF, Mr Ratcliff said the security features have been carefully considered in the design of tool.

“We’ve blocked all traffic outside of Australia – we figured no one needs an Australian SMSF if they’re from Romania so we don’t accept any incoming traffic from outside the country,” he said.

“We also don’t store credit card details; we use a third-party payment gateway.”
