BGL managing director Ron Lesh said the software firm was delighted to launch the new training initiative, called the TOA BGL Training Academy.

“This new initiative adds to the range of training opportunities available to BGL clients in Australia and overseas,” Mr Lesh said.

“TOA clients using BGL solutions will benefit from improved productivity and recognition of their learning achievements.”

Mr Lesh added that by enabling TOA teams to take certified training courses in Simple Fund 360 and the group’s accounting software, CAS 360, accounting practices using TOA could rest assured that their outsourcing teams could efficiently manage SMSFs.

“We understand it is extremely important for outsourcing teams to fully understand how CAS 360 and Simple Fund 360 work to ensure their firms are compliant with corporations and SMSF law,” he said.

“I’m proud of this new initiative — it will help many outsourcing teams and further build the skills of accountants working at TOA.”

Mr Lesh said the group were strong advocates for developing “ecosystem partnerships” that allowed BGL clients to work better with their own clients.

“We have invested heavily to create training and other resources for our clients,” he said.

“This new training platform with TOA Global is an example of two leading providers collaborating for the benefit of both our clients.”
