BGL said the partnership will provide BGL Simple Fund 360 clients with direct access to the Ignition Wealth SMSF Appropriateness Guide.

BGL managing director Ron Lesh said the Ignition Wealth SMSF Appropriateness Guide allows accountants who do not have an AFSL to maintain their status as the key relationship holder and trusted adviser while ensuring that their client receives advice from the digital advice provider.

“A key advantage of the Ignition Wealth hybrid digital advice solution is that it is easy to use, scalable and is ready to assist the large number of SMSFs that require advice,” said Mr Lesh.

Ignition Wealth head of sales and marketing Richard Liverpool said training is provided and the fees are paid per client which “are only payable when the client’s statement of advice is produced”.

why would BGL link with this firm and its SMSF tool.

I have used the tool & the result was an SMSF is not suitable.

Past 10 year result for my SMSF is an average of 8.2% per annum, (growth, income, net of tax ,& deferred tax).

    Tool needs some refinement.
