The compliance, SMSF, investment management, identity verification and AI-powered software solutions provider said the move followed the earlier integration of BGLiD with CAS 360 in August 2023.

The identity verification solution is now available in all three of BGL’s core products, delivering fast, secure and seamless identity verification for accountants, administrators and advisers.

Daniel Tramontana, chief executive of BGL, said the integration is a “major milestone for the BGL team”, and the addition of BGLiD to Simple Fund 360 and Simple Invest 360 signifies the company’s continued focus on innovation and client experience.

Jeevan Tokhi, general manager of product at BGL, added that the platform was built to make client verification easy, fast and reliable “without the need for clients to purchase additional subscriptions”.

BGLiD is a simple identity verification solution that complies with the guidelines of the ATO and the Tax Practitioners Board.

It verifies client identities instantly with the issuing authority and features AI-powered biometric scanning for added security and accuracy.

Powered by FrankieOne, a global identity, compliance and fraud detection engine, BGLiD connects to trusted verification sources, including Government ID, anti-money laundering (AML), global sanctions and adverse news databases.

BGLiD verifies Australian passports, driver’s licences, Medicare cards and international passports registered with the Australian government. It is subscription-free with no minimum monthly spend, and clients are charged per identity verification with fees debited monthly in arrears.
