Document provider LightYear Group has appointed a new executive director to its board.

The chief of sales at LightYear Docs, Benjamin Gill, has been appointed as an executive director to the board of LightYear Group. He joins founding directors Grant Abbott, Ashleigh Jaremyn and Michael Jeffriess.

Mr Gill has over 15 years of experience selling products and services to accountants, financial planners and SMSF advisors and currently heads up the sales and marketing team for LightYear Docs.

During his career he has held a number of national sales manager roles within the online business and legal documentation space.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Gill said he was excited to be joining the board and believes he can contribute significantly as an innovative contributor.

Mr Gill previously also worked with Grant Abbott at NowInfinity in the roles of sales director and national sales manager.

Mr Abbott said the promotion was “very well deserved”.

“Ben is one of the best sales persons I have worked with and a great asset to the LightYear Group,” said Mr Abbott.
