A major SMSF software firm has developed a new mobile application enabling SMSF professionals to better engage with clients about their investments and strategies, and has also announced a new integration.

Ahead of its BGL REGTECH conference this week, BGL Corporate Solutions has launched a new mobile application called Engage, which will enable SMSF professionals to connect with clients in any location and any time in relation to their investments, contributions and pensions.

The application also provides access to Trustee Query, a feature released last year which allows SMSF professionals to send transaction queries to clients. Clients can then respond with transaction details or attach source documents to the transaction.

It has also announced a new integration with Smarter SMSF which will make the purchase of documents faster.

BGL managing director Ron Lesh said the new service provides BGL clients the ability to subscribe with Smarter SMSF for document bundles based on their needs.

“These documents are tightly integrated into both CAS 360 and Simple Fund 360,” he said.

“We’re thrilled to launch this new service with Smarter SMSF. Smarter SMSF has been part of our ecosystem for a long time.”
