The new platform, called Connected Services, will enable SMSF trustees to manage, implement, monitor and report on their investments, anywhere at any time from the one place.

SuperConcepts chief executive Natasha Fenech said the platform will also provide advisers and accountants with better visibility of their clients’ self-directed investments.

The online platform gives SMSF trustees access to a wide range of investment products and services including bank account, term deposits, life insurance, managed investment schemes, investor directed portfolio services, securities and new categories such as peer-to-peer lending. Trustees will have access to a number of different providers for each asset class.

SMSF trustees will also be able to prefill the application form for the product or service with the third-party provider using information about your SMSF contained within their online dashboard. They’ll also be able to directly access the third-party provider’s transactional platform once they have acquired their product or service and see transactions completed in the third-party provider’s platform reflected in their dashboard, said SuperConcepts.

“Where possible we have single sign on capability which reduces the time-consuming process of having to log on multiple times using multiple passwords. This feature streamlines what is otherwise a clunky and unwieldy process,” said Ms Fenech.

Does SuperConcepts not understand the basic needs of Trustees of SELF MANAGED Superannuation Funds.

On time delivery of administration would be a good starting point.
