As part of a new campaign targeting the SMSF market, AMP Capital has announced the launch of a website to educate SMSF trustees on property and infrastructure investments.

The website has been designed for SMSF advisers and their clients to highlight the range of investment options available to SMSF trustees, according to AMP.

SMSF trustees and their advisers can improve and diversify a portfolio’s construction by considering a broader range of “real assets”, including infrastructure and other types of property, AMP stated.

“With cash rates declining, SMSF investors are looking for other options to ensure their long-term savings and retirement needs will be met,” AMP’s head of retail Craig Keary.

“AMP Capital has used its deep investment expertise to develop a dedicated website to educate SMSF investors and their advisers on the benefits of diversifying their portfolio and investing in infrastructure and property.”

AMP is looking to develop more “specialist investment products” for SMSF trustees into the future, Mr Keary said.

The website can be viewed at https://www.ampcapital.com/au/en/smsf
